More than a training.
The beginning of a new life.

At Santosh Yoga Institute, teacher training is not just about learning poses. It is about understanding yoga as a complete system — its philosophy, its practice, and its application in daily life.

This traditional style of training encourages students to deepen their practice in order to find more peace and contentment within themselves. As students move past merely the physical aspect of yoga into the deeper realms, they find their lives transformed.

Whether you plan to teach professionally or simply want to deepen your own understanding, this training gives you the tools to share yoga with others — and ultimately a deeper understanding of yourself.

“Are you passionate about transforming yourself and your community? This traditional style of training encourages students to deepen their practice in order to find more peace and contentment within themselves.”

Helping community is at the heart of this training

One of the foundations of the Santosh Yoga teacher training program is the principle of giving back. Every student gets the chance to be involved in group community service as part of the training.

This is not an optional extra. It is built into the program because teaching yoga is not just about standing in front of a class. It is about showing up for people who need it most.

Teaching homeless communities

Students get direct experience teaching yoga to people in underserved situations, building real-world teaching skills alongside compassion and sensitivity.

Working with special populations

Training includes working with deaf and blind students, expanding your ability to adapt and communicate yoga to people with different needs.

Seva — service in action

The yogic principle of selfless service is woven throughout the program. Students leave not just as teachers, but as people who understand the responsibility that comes with sharing yoga.
